Matar paneer


ingredients

  • Paneer - 200gms(small cubes)
  • Peas-  1 cup( frozen or boiled)
  • Oil-  2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 2 tbsp
  • Onion- 2-3 chopped
  • Tomatoes- 2-3 ( grated) 
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder- 3 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
  • Chilly powder- 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds to it.
  2. Add the onion to the oil and allow them to fry till they turn light brown in colour.add the coriander powder and fry for one minute.
  3. Add the tomatoes ,turmeric powder ,chilly powder ,garam masala ,ginger garlic paste and salt .keep frying the tomatoes till the oil separates out .
  4. Add the peas and paneer cubes to this masala add some water to make some gravy .
  5. Cover the dish for around 8-10 minutes 
  6. Garnish with some coriander leaves .
  7. Serve with chapati or parathas.

SHARBAT-E-KHAAS ingredients- Milk - 1 glass Rooh afza syrup - 2 tsp Sugar - to taste Coconut- 1 tsp ( grated) Kewra water - 2 drops Almonds and pistachios- 2 tsp ( chopped) Method- Take milk in a bowl. Add sugar and rooh afza syrup mix well. Add coconut , kewra water and 1 tsp dry fruits.mix well. Pour  sharbat in glass and garnish with 1 tsp dry fruits. Serve cool.
