Chicken haleem


Ingredients-

  • Chicken pieces ( boneless) -  500 gms
  • Wheat-  200 gms
  • Yellow split lentil - 1/2 cup
  • Onions- 3
  • Lemons- 2
  • Salt- to taste 
  • Green chili- 6
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Garam masala- 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp roasted 
For garnishing- 
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tsp
  • Ginger gulian- 1 tsp
  • Onion slices 
  • Garlic sauce - 1 tsp

Method-

  1. Heat oil in a fry pan and keep meat in the fry pan mix garlic, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.cook on medium flame.
  2. In separate fry pan boil wheat grains with huge quantity of  water, mix salt in it.
  3. Now add the wheat grains with the meat of chicken and mix well.stir  continuously and mix them properly, now grind the lentils in a food processor make it into a thick paste by adding 2 cups of  water while blending it.
  4. Put the lentil paste into the meat and wheat mixture and  mix well.place the pan on a heavy tava or griddle on low heat and cook for  30- 40  minutes.
  5. When the haleem its prepared garnish with garam masala,sprinkle onions, fresh coriander leaves  and ginger gulian.

Garlic bread

Garlic bread  Ingredients- Oregano- 1/4 tsp Sugar- 1 tsp Flour- 2 cup Active dry yeast- 2 tsp Warm water- 3/4 cup Olive oil - 2 tbsp Salt - 1/2 tsp Cornmeal- 2 tbsp Mozzarella cheese - 2 cup Garlic salt - 1/2 tsp Garlic paste- 1/2 tsp Dried parsley - 1/2 tsp Method- Mix sugar and warm water together.add in yeast and allow to proof about 5 minutes. Add in olive oil. Add in flour and salt in mixer .mix until smooth and elastic. Place dough in bowl. Cover and allow to rise for about 1 1/2 hours. Mix together 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and garlic salt,garlic powder and parsley. Preheat oven to 450 degree c .place a baking stone in oven while preheating or a cookie sheet turned upside down.
